why fear isn’t real (and how i released it)

a journal from jamaica on shadow work, fear, and liberation

this morning’s journal is coming to you from the golden streets of ocho rios, jamaica.
the air feels alive, warm, fragrant, and full of possibility. as i walked, i began reflecting on something that’s been shaping all of our lives in ways we rarely see… fear.

lately, i’ve been traveling a lot, shifting, expanding, and sitting with the ways fear shows up in my life.
sometimes fear is subtle, like hesitation before taking a leap. other times, it’s loud, a voice that says, “you’re not ready yet.”

but here’s what i’ve learned: fear isn’t real. it’s a story the mind tells to keep us “safe.”
in truth, we’ve already survived. we’re not meant to stay in survival mode, we’re meant to thrive.

on my walk today, i remembered how fear once kept me from deep connections and soulful opportunities. it was only through shadow work and past life regression that i uncovered the root, abandonment and began to release it.

today’s practice:
when fear arises, don’t push it away. instead, pause. ask:

what is this fear protecting me from?

journal the answer. breathe into the space behind it.
each time you do, you reclaim a piece of your freedom.

what fear are you ready to release this season?
hit reply and share it with me, let’s walk through it together. 🌙

with love + light,
